God. Why don't we all just spray the whole Middle East with pig urine so NONE of them can live there, Arab or Jew?

Then the Christians can take over the Holy Land. :-D

I remember the same thing happening when it was Israel vs. Hezbollah instead of Hamas. Some posters appeared out of the woodwork to tell us over and over and over what a terrible, evil, genocidal country Israel is. Once the fighting stopped the users disappeared. They probably don't even know what peak oil is.

I first apologize for to post the same in more than one topic and for to add to much text instead of the link only.

To Seldom_seen:

I could start a long story, only if I could be bothered to get all my old passports and Discharge Certificates that I have in my old luggage...
I do not know I many off-shore and in-shore plant I visited in my life, I do not know how many times I vomited in to Northen Sea carried by supplies tug-boats.
For you Aruba might remind you a Margarita cocktail, to me a massive crude-oil refinery plant. Maracaibo to you brings memories of pirates of caribbean, to me a sweaty devastated place of the Heart.
You probably never shared a meal with an Indian welder in Quatar or a cup of Mate drink with a oiler from Uruguay.
You probably never did 4-8 hours shift for 8 months on a Oil tanker, and you do not know what is a PT-100 or a 4-20mA transducer. You probably do not know out to Close a valve which is 15 miles from your control room, and if it doesn't work you need to go out in pick-up with -45.
You do not know how the magic machine that convert mechanical power to electric power is called, and you could not manage to make a manual emergency parallel connection in grid of a diesel generator in a 60MW power plant. You probably do not know what is a High-speed breaker. You do not know as well how do you feel on a 4-4 week rota on a rig, and every night or day when you can sleep you wake up dreaming that the rig is burning as you do not have a place to escape.
You probably never got drunk with a Scottish driller-man... I tried...
You probably do not know as well what from a oil barrel can came out, you probably do not the difference between diesel and regular car gas or heavy diesel and avio fuel. You can just thank god that let you pay the same price of a Gallon of gas and a bottle of EVIAN.

I installed my first solar panel cells 12 years ago, you were probably still waiting for SANTA, and my neigthbor were teasing me.

You know why I do know about peal oil?
Because I NEVER SEEN in my life such a man made disaster like oil. As a technician I saw so many things that made me realize that oil was going to be a disaster many years ago, in matter of humans cost, ecologic costs, not only in freaky urban survival crap.

I'm in Europe, I grow up my own vegetables, I make wine and oil (if you have a brain now you know that I mean south-europe), I have 12 rabbits and 9 chickens. My family leave in the same village since more that 600 years, and I have about 2500 books in my living room.

I met people from probably 40 nationality and worked with them and after to know how to fix a High voltage Cyclo-converter I ended up learning how to make wine from my father and do not give a shit about 12.000$ a month high specialized contractor.

But I learn another thing, that there is only one people in the face of the heart that call himself the "chosen" one.
They're a bit similar to oil industries, they dry out countries, they do not care for enviroment, they only care for them self and money, they are ready to make any kind of crimes to get what they want, they steal and corrupt, and they do not have respect for other but them self.
A bunch of pimp and bigots ready to lick ass all oven the word.
Freaks no more than Charles Manson or David Koresh.

A final thing, as proud European, I still leave in a country where if they try to built a Mosque close to my neighborhood I can still protest with out that a crazy policeman put a taser in my ass.
So you know they I'm not Muslim as well.

Now you keep safe in your country, do not bother too much about peak oil, worry more about your israel and the nazi-zio-talmud-criminal style of people they are.
By the way PO is not harmful to israel, maybe credit crisis is worst for those nice guys, if the dollar era end they will have to go and lick some cold russian ass or yellow chinese butt before they trow them in the Mediterranen Sea (by the way this time the sea is not going to open the water for you... Red Sea magic trick is not going to work).

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', ' ')Like many other protests of Israel's campaign in Gaza, this one ended badly — police had to cool an ugly fight between supporters of Israel and Gaza, breaking up the warring sides as their screaming and chanting threatened to turn into something worse.

But some protesters at this rally in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., took their rhetoric a step further, calling for the extermination of Israel — and of Jews.

Separated by battle lines and a stream of rush-hour traffic outside a federal courthouse last week, at least 200 pro-Palestinian demonstrators faced off against a smaller crowd of Israel supporters.

Most of the chants were run-of-the-mill; men and women waving Palestinian flags called Israel's invasion of Gaza a "crime," while the pro-Israel group carried signs calling the Hamas-run territory a "terror state."

But as the protest continued and crowds grew, one woman in a hijab began to shout curses and slurs that shocked Jewish activists in the city, which has a sizable Jewish population.

"Go back to the oven," she shouted, calling for the counter-protesters to die in the manner that the Nazis used to exterminate Jews during the Holocaust.

Fox News & Bloomberg

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'B')REAKING NEWS — As many as five rockets fired from Lebanon exploded in northern Israel on Thursday, the first since the Jewish state launched an offensive in Gaza two weeks ago, Israeli police said.

The rockets reportedly struck around the town of Nahariya, 5 miles south of the Lebanese border and wounded at least one person.

Israeli forces immediately returned fire, blasting mortars across Lebanon's border after the attack. A military spokesman said Israel fired five artillery shells aimed as "a pinpoint response at the source of fire."

Israeli defense officials said the military had been on alert for rocket attacks by Lebanon's Hezbollah militia since Israel intensified its battle against Palestinian rocket squads in Gaza, on Israel's southern flank. At the same time as Thursday's northern barrage, six rockets from Gaza hit towns in southern Israel.

Hezbollah had no immediate comment. The heavily armed group is a strong ally of Hamas, but has held its fire during the Israeli offensive in the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip.

Well, there are reasonable people in all societies. Just not enough of them in Israel right now. And with the unstoppable sword of emotional blackmail the Holocaust furnishes them, apparently there's no need to be reasonable.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('strider3700', 'I')'m getting awfully disappointed with Israel. As was pointed out earlier the genocide I keep hearing about is pathetic. they need to put down those m-16's and get some good old fashioned machete's out.

This worlds not going to depopulate itself.

(Note - I'm not pro either side here just enjoying die off that isn't in my backyard)

Hm, you can enjoy-confront the die off face to face here if you feel like it:
http://www.elfarra.org/gallery/gaza.htm

That reminds me about M.L.King jr. who have seen the "unfiltered" pictures from Vietnam war for the first time just several month before his death. Based on that profound impact he was about to start massive wave of anti-war demos/general strikes. Well, we know how that effort soon ended, assassinated by special mil. squad, there's even a court/jury ruling on this one, so pls. no typical "tinfoil" bullshit in response from brainwashed amuricans..

There are more human and expediate approaches to die off than this type of savagery zionazi style..

All 'Possibilities Open' against Israel: Hezbollah Chief

Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah said Wednesday "all possibilities" are open against Israel and warned the Jewish state's 2006 war with his party would resemble "a walk in the park" in the event of renewed conflict.

"We have to act as though all possibilities are real and open (against Israel) and we must always be ready for any eventuality," said Nasrallah, whose Shiite militant party is backed by Syria and Iran.

His comment marked the first time he has spoken so openly on the possibility of a renewed conflict with Israel since the war in Gaza began on December 27.

Nasrallah, addressing tens of thousands of supporters via video link at his stronghold in Beirut's suburbs on the occasion of Ashura, said that the 2006 conflict would be nothing compared to what awaits Israel if it opens a second front.

"I say to (Israeli Prime Minister Ehud) Olmert, the loser, the vanquished in Lebanon that 'you cannot overcome Hamas or Hezbollah'," Nasrallah said. "Your 2006 war will be but a walk in the park compared to what we have prepared for you in the event of a new offensive.

"We are ready to sacrifice our souls, our brothers and sisters, our children, our loved ones for what we believe in," he added. "We will not abandon the fight or our weapons."

Canadians have get out of jail free card

This reminds me of the millions that Canada spent to get people out of Lebanon when TSHTF there a while back.
Must be nice to have a passport of convenience so you can say "Help Me, I'm a Canadian" whenever you want a free ride out of a hell hole.

Yeah, while Ottawa leaves them sitting around where most other countries got them out before last weekend, yeah... same as last time. With "convenience" like that, they should get a rebate.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('eastbay', 'F')or the long-term, like for less than a decade or two, Israel's chances for survival are totally hopeless. They'll eventually get a very nasty taste of what they've been dishing out these past 60 years. Just give it some time. Nothing can stop the coming death of that 'nation'.

Rebate? For what?
I'd be really interested to know what, if any taxes or other contributions these people have ever paid or made to Canada in the 1st place.

As I recall there was quite a stink raised about the money spent on those Lebanese/Canadians and all kind of politicians said "this can't happen like this again, we need to change the rules" then I never heard anything more about it.

Here is the 64K question...

If 16,000 missiles were launched in 3 days, would Israel respond with the 50 to 70 nukes have?

(most on dolphin class subs)

thoughts?

Surely Jews are the undisputed world champions at whining about genocide. You have made a multi-billion dollar industry of it. (EDIT) The multi-billion dollar industry is called "Israel".

Growing evidence emerged today of the bloodiest single incident of the Gaza conflict when around 70 corpses were found by a Palestinian paramedic near a bombed-out house.
Mohammed Shaheen, a volunteer with Palestinian Red Crescent, was in the first convoy of ambulances to reach the site of the blast in Zeitoun since it was first occupied then shelled by the Israeli army.

His testimony confirmed accounts, first reported in The Telegraph, from survivors of the extended al Samouni clan who said they feared between 60 and 70 family members had been killed.

"Inside the Samouni house I saw about ten bodies and outside another sixty,'' Mr Shaheen said.

"I was not able to count them accurately because there was not much time and we were looking for wounded people.

"We found fifteen people still alive but injured so we took them in the ambulances.

"I could see an Israeli army bulldozer knocking down houses nearby but we ran out of time and the Israeli soldiers started shooting at us.

"We had to leave about eight injured people behind because we could not get to them and it was no longer safe for us to stay.'' Mr Shaheen was in a convoy led by a jeep from the International Committee of the Red Cross that made its way down war-damaged tracks past demolished houses to the town of Zeitoun.

Concerns had been growing that Zeitoun had witnessed massive civilian casualties after surviving members of the Samouni clan reached Gaza City three days ago.

They said that after the Israeli army first took the town on Saturday night soldiers had ordered about 100 members of the clan to gather in a single house owned by Wael Samouni around dawn on Sunday.

At 6.35am on Monday the house was repeatedly shelled with appalling loss of civilian life.

A handful of survivors, some wounded, others carrying dead or dying infants, made it on foot to Gaza's main north-south road before they were given lifts to hospital. Three small children were buried in Gaza City that afternoon.

According to the survivors between 60 and 70 family members had been killed by shrapnel and falling masonry.

Convoys of ambulances twice headed to the area to look for wounded but they were driven back by Israeli shooting.

During today's three hour lull in offensive operations by Israel, the ICRC led the rescue convoy in although it took a long time for the convoy to make its way down war-damaged.

According to Mr Shaheen, the death toll was as high as described by the survivors.
