I have felt the same way. It comes in waves.
Overall, I feel I have gained from my participation. I've learned an immense amount about myself, others, and the world.
The danger is investing too much of your identity and time in this place. I have learned to achieve better separation from this website without throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
It is true that, after a while, you've said all you have to say, or most of it.
However, as the world situation continues to change, new things arise on which to comment. The financial crisis is an example.
That, and the need for some sort of human contact beyond my extremely limited nonvirtual social life, will probably keep me hanging on here until either it or I hits the dust.
