$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('jato', 'Y')eah, Art Bell has some whacko callers!

I wonder what the EROI on creating anti-matter is? Negative 50:1? Those super colliders aren't cheap to build or operate!

Jenab, what did you think of Matt's scenario(s)?

Matt is right. The only thing I've heard him say that I disagreed with had nothing to do with Peak Oil or its implications.

Yes. Last night Art said he will talk about the serious energy crisis on Sunday (tonight). I will be listening.

I will definitily be listening. My only hope is the "Open Lines" focus on the energy problem does not involve ghosts, shadow people, UFOs, et cetera. Hopefully they just present the facts. However, considering the nature of the show, I would bet against it.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'd')oes not involve ghosts, shadow people, UFOs, et cetera.

It’s funny, I have noticed those types of people don't believe in Peak Oil. They seem to think that oil companies conspire and hide all of those zero-point energy machines that keep popping up. The oil companies want to suppress the "free energy" in order to keep making money.

Art is very well versed in peak oil and is extremely concerned about the issue. I am a regular Coast listener and he brings it up quite frequently. I think tonight will be a very interesting show.

I have noticed that too. I find it quite odd that people will believe in fantasies with no scientific basis to back up the claims, but as soon as science is used to prove that our way of life is fleeting, they immediatly reject it and choose to continue to believe in thier false reality of shadow people/ morlocks/ aliens/ interdimensional travel/ the pyramids used to make hydrogen/ et cetera.

I was right (so far). The first 3 callers don't believe in peak oil. It's all a conspiracy.

I loved the guy who said that if we had a democrat in office, a lawsuit would be filed and the price would come down to 59 cents a gallon.

Vena caval foramen admits the inferior venal cava, and the vagus nerves. Vena caval foramen admits the inferior venal cava and the vagus nerves. Vena caval foramen admits the inferior venal cava and the vagus nerves.

OK, time for a break. Art Bell, yes, Peak Oil, yes, societal collapse, yes, should I call in, yes.

I will announce myself as Ayoob, let's see how it goes. I'll do my best to plug the site.

I'm listening too, and I'm amazed at how clueless these people are. Even the one caller who thinks Peak Oil is real doesn't understand the scope of the problem.

Line's busy. Dammit.

Hey, there's a great PO thread on Badda bingarfcom right now, seems there's a reporter on MSNBC that's sourcing Ken Deffeyes, Matt Simmons, Colin Campbell, etc. It's worth checking out.

I was kinda hammered when I started the thread, so try to ignore my worst ramblings, but this one other guy really fuckin nails it home with a host of good articles from msnbc.
