A $25 gain is still a relatively small percent gain.
Overall, gold has underreacted, fantastically, to the unfolding epic events. That could change, but so far I'm stunned by its refusal to move.
I'm beginning to think we really could have deflation (as part of a new depression). It goes against my instincts, but I can't ignore the evidence of my senses.
A local gold dealer I speak with believes the price is being manipulated and suppressed low while some very powerful players accumulate. Once this phase is over, it's 'to the moon'. Watch for $2500-3000 before you can blink.
A commodity is only what someone will pay for it. Who is going to pay $2500-3000 for an ounce of gold?
