So i got this big history exam coming up which is like a final exam in the finnish equivalent of high school. (not exactly the same, but the closest thing we have.) While i do know most of it quite well there are some things about our history that cant be found in the history books. Information that is often discussed here. Heres where you come in. I have some questions about things like advances in agriculture and oils relationship with wars etc.
First of all, the green revolution: According to wikipedia this occurred in 1945 but ive understood that most of the inventions that we associate with green revolution had infact been invented earlier than that. So what are key components of the green revolution and when were they first invented/implemented?
The second question i have is this: I often hear people talking here about oils role in both of the world wars. Could someone explain this? Are there any other conflicts that were (partly) caused by oil?
Third question: does anyone know where i could find population graphs of individual countries?
I'll probably come up with a few more but those are the most important ones.
