Speaking of dads, mine told me with anguish in his face that he had to fire 200 engineers at the end of the Apollo Moon project. He had risen to the top of his profession and hit a dead end. It was only later that I understood why he told me that when he had always been silent about his work. That was when I lost my dad. It was many attempts later, after I'd seen him in the hospital with tubes and pain written all over him that he finally succeeded in taking his own life. So buck up, kid, life sucks. Deal with it.

In Newsweek september 22 on page 24 is an article you should read. it is titled aA SON FINDS HIS WAY

Dennis Milroy finally admits that even though his parents were not there when he needed them, he finally figured out that only he was to blame for any reckless behaviour.
He is the adult child of alcoholic parent. and that excuse limited him all his life.

He got over it

after they died and he had to pick out the tombstone, he finally put on it:
"They did their very best that they could"

He realized no matter how many demons you face,. it is your responsibility to get on with life and only YOU are responsible for your happiness and for your actions.

So, get up and get healed.
