$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('jbrovont', 'B')ut I had this thought: the devisive rift that keeps us under the chokehold of these two parties *depends* on us not understanding what the other side thinks, and hating them/thinking they're stupid/etc for what we *think* their argument is. I don't think it's a happy coincidence there's so much misinformation out there to fuel this.
Even more interesting: look at where these misinformations come from. There really aren't that many "trusted" sources on either side. 20 or 30 max? So between 40 and 60 people keep us mindlessly divided over essentially untrue BS so two parties can control everything else and treat us like a colony.
**yep, basically you just outlined the Hegelian dialectic that keeps us divided. The really *evil* ones can make money coming or going.
It's all about the money for them, while the rest of the world suffers.
The things that get banned here in N.America are just shifted to other 3rd world countries to be used in growing food crops there. That's why going back to a regional diet, supporting your local farmers market and putting up your own food IS the best bet, because the out-of-season stuff you buy from South Africa, or Chile, can be laced with really bad stuff.
Also bad for the Ag workers down there, who are usually only supplied with directions in English, (when they read Spanish if they are lucky or are most cases illiterate.) and are not given adequate protective gear for spraying.
There are truly evil folks in the world today, laughing all the way to the bank.
