ever since humanity learned to walk on it's hind legs both men and women have worked. It's just that much of the work women did was unpaid work.
I have this theory that the concept of being "un-employed" is actually a modern invention.
Back in pre-industrialized times there was ALWAYS something to do whether it's fetching water, basket weaving, sewing, picking berries, skinning a buffalo, etc...

I would agree.
Only Big Business and the Politicians care about 'unemployment' as it doesn't contribute to the economy and lining their pockets.
Their is still plenty to do, it's just we have other countries do it for us. That won't last much longer.
