My avatar is based on the avatar of a guy who makes dumb cartoons online, nothing more.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Gazzatrone', 'A')lmost everyone has one, but never seem to be explained. Just for kicks and sh*ts whats yours about?

Mine, well two reasons
1: being a Star Trek fan
2: being a Star Trek fan, the U.S.S Enterprise always represented for me, an achievable future, something to aspire to. I always saw it as a symbol of hope. Now all it is, is a stark reminder that Humanity is crap. What we could have had is nothing more than an aspiration.

One wonders what the world would be like if we had a leader like Mr. Spock, who no doubt would have understood that erecting an infrastructure based on petroleum would be like building a house of cards over quicksand.

The Peak Oil version of the Horse and Pony Show.

Don't pet the Pale one.
And the Red one tends to bite.
And you might want to keep your distance from the White one, especially if your immunizations are not current.
As a matter of fact, you might want to stay clear of the herd altogether.
If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face--for ever."

I guess that would include me.

Polar bear wearing a trilby hat and flower with a ghetto blaster in its teeth.

To me, it is a bear market bringing a not very subtle wake up call.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('FoxV', 'w')ell you've motivated me to finally upload my Avatar.

Had this around for a while, just never actually uploaded it to my ftp space

edit---
although perhaps now I should change my sig to something a little less cynical (although I'm still feeling pretty pissed about things these days)

As you can see, your picture is not the correct size.

Post it as a picture and I can shrink it and change the color bits so it will work.

has to be less than 96 bits wid and high and color should be 128 bit instead of unlimited.

I have just changed my avatar to this little blind Opossum that we met over on the Oregon coast a few weeks back.
