$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Byron100', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('energycity', 'Y')es, I probably watch it a couple of times a month (if that) usually the news. Last thing I watched though was Nadal vs Federer, Wimbledon 2008.
In the UK those who own/watch a TV have to pay the BBC for the privilege (about £140 or US$280 pa). Call me a masochist if you like but I don't mind paying as I think generally the BBC is a good thing as long as you you read/watch/listen to their output critically.
Good gosh, having to pay almost $300 a year for the "privilege" watching what's really supposed to be free, over-the-air TV...you Brits need to have a TV riot...hehe.
Seriously, though, can't people just lie and say they don't have a TV? Do they really come inside every single home in Britain to see how many TVs you have?
That is one tax I'd be very, very reluctant to pay...just seems horribly unfair to those (like me) who use TVs merely as a DVD monitor. :/
