great - for most of the LA drive thrus there could be a call centre in Mexiko or Venezuela, as most of their clients are native spanish speakers and the cost for the call centre down there would be a quarter of the cost in North Dakota (whereever that might be... )

Maybe they can cook the burger somewhere in Mexika and ship in a heated truck - the customers of McD are used to eat burgers that where kept warm over a longer period of time...

It was actually a two-part bill. It banned pot in exchange for wiping out all lefties past the age of 65. A fair trade off in my book.

To add to this, my local news station had a report on how people over the age of 45 or so should not over exercise or you might die of a heart attack. They recommend have some scan done to check for blockage. The dude that was on was in very good shape and ran every day, he almost died!

McDonald's feels petrol pain

SKY-HIGH petrol prices are finally causing real pain for consumers according to McDonald's Australia, which yesterday warned of slumping sales growth.

The Australian arm of the US burger giant admitted 4 to 5 percentage points had been knocked off sales growth in just the past three or four weeks.
McDonald's Australia chief executive Peter Bush said the double whammy of increased mortgage interest rates in March-April and sharply higher fuel prices had come home to roost in the past month.....,
