When they report on someone having to remove his Prince Albert, and there's photos, please let me know.

Not planning on flying anymore but I was thinking the other day, I have a bicycle chain around my wrist that is there for good, or until I take it off with a chain tool. Might make for an interesting time at the airport. They might be able to cut it off?

...just a thought...

Look at this way: the sooner the TSA helps put the airlines out of business the better. The days of easy guilt free travel are over. Expect to be harassed if you choose to fly.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('dukey', 'n')ext step is to the make the enemies of the state simply disappear like what happened in germany

What makes you so sure that isn't already happening?

At some point, it will make more sense to change to a "friends of the State list" because it will be shorter and easier to maintain than this list.

Pretty soon, it will only be "friends of the state" who will be able to afford to fly.

I feel like one of these days they are going to snag the member list of this website and add us all to the watch list.

This type of [censored] by the [censored] is just ridiculous. I mean, how much longer are [censored] going to put up with this type of behavior from the [censored]. We're on the verge of heading into a [censored]. [censored] back! Or else [censored] will start [censored] on more of our [censored].

My grandmother has a metal plate in her hip. As a result, they have to take her to a separate section of the security line in order to pat her down to check for weapons.
If Al Qaeda has managed to turn my 82-year-old grandmother into a terrorist...we're seriously screwed as a nation.

We're probably all on the "watch list" just for being here. Even lurking here too long will probably get you on it. Being exposed to this kind of information is just down right dangerous!

TSA Follies: Behavior Detection Officers

Unread postby mattduke » Mon 28 Jul 2008, 22:56:57

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'T')ransportation Security Administration officials aren't just concerned with what is in your luggage anymore. Some are being trained to assess what's going through your mind. Behavior Detection Officers who work for the TSA go through a week long training in order to look for travelers displaying involuntary physical and physiological reactions that indicate stress, fear or deception. Though the agency won't go into detail about what those indicators are, they say it's a sophisticated process to determine who needs additional screening.
