I really believed we would always advance forward with technology. Now the reality is extraordinarily inverted. Now I am wondering if I will be able to feed my kids. This headline hit me extra hard because for some weird reason, it made it more true. I guess I was still shaking hands with denial.
After the depression lifts get to work on preparedness. It took me a week to get back on track and shake the depression when I first found out about PO.
And yes those of us that are not able to adapt will take an ass reaming and they wont even be able to use Vaseline since that is made from crude oil as well.
Survival is also about comfort...we try to be as comfortable as possible in uncomfortable circumstances. When we get too uncomfortable we can die. It is that simple
Flexibility and adaptation are two characteristics of the successful survivor.
Some of us do a great job surviving catastrophes and some of us cannot even survive a stretch of hot weather and die.
It takes knowledge, dedication and action to be successful at it.
Remember, knowledge without application is useless.
One other point; none of us will be ultimate survivors, we all have to die one day. But the successful survivor extends his or her life beyond an earlier death...a death that was caused by ignorance of how to make that life last longer.
