How high does it have to get before that changes??!
This has been debated. Most believe that between $300 and $500 we should start seeing some changes. I might venture not much will happen up to a 4 digit oil...
I'm beginning to see some demand destruction - namely wayyyy less traffic between the afternoon rush hour and the morning rush hour. But I live in a small city.
I'm thinking the psychological barrier will be $5 per gallon gas. Or when a gallon matches the minimum wage.
