I doubt very seriously we'll ever see a World War in the classic sense again, where nuclear superpowers openly engage one another on a large scale, and unless superpowers openly fighting is involved, I don't know you can term it a "World" war.
China will never invade Russia, and vice-versa, Germany will not invade France, nobody will invade U.S., If you have ICBM's you are safe from invasion, have you noticed no foreign troop has ever set foot on a nuclear nation's soil since Nagasaki? That's 63 years of some very violent times without a nuclear power being invaded.
I think the wise men realize reciprocating nuclear war is a no win situation, they may run nuclear war simulations till the cows come home, but it takes too many "signatures" to launch 1st strike nowadays. Unless there is a clear, credible threat, surprise 1st strike is very unlikely.(this excludes false flag inside jobs) World War 3 will be a proxy war, just like most war since WW2, there will just be more players.
It will take place in the mideast, The majors behind it will be the superpowers. The U.S. and Britain will fight thru and with Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, UAE, Qatar, ......against Iran, syria, Taliban/Al Queda, Lebanon, possibly Pakistani and Iraqi rebel factions, the Iranians will enjoy the support of either China or Russia, or possibly a combination of the two.
You may see India and Pakistan use this regional conflict to finally settle their differences on the battlefield, this could lead to a nuclear exchange, it seems their mutual hatred transcends reason. This may also set the stage for a side war in S.E. Turkey and N.W. Iraq, that will have little to do with oil. China would most likely use the M.E. war as cover to invade Taiwan. The U.S. would also likely use it as an excuse to start up some contra/sandanista type shit in Venezuela and Bolivia, beyond what they've already done. You would also probably see overt moves to secure African resources by one or more majors during this time.
It will be World War, but you won't see U.S. forces (or anyone else)marching thru the frozen tundra to lay seige to Leningrad . You won't see China dive-bombing Pearl Harbor or Russians marching to Berlin, no nuclear powers sovereign soil will be threatened in WW3.
As someone on this thread already stated, WW3 has already begun, so you don't have to be Nostradomus to see the groundwork for wider conflict being laid. We might see Bush invade Iran before he leaves, with centcoms Top Dog ( and pain in Bushes ass) Fallon "resigning", we are one step closer to the final game being set in motion.
Perhaps the population would be less swayed to socialism if we had fewer examples of socialism from our "Free Market Capitalists". -----fiddler dave
