I was talking to some friends today about preparing for peak oil. They have all come aware of this in the past few months. Better late than never, as they say. I was explaining to them that the situation is now desperate and it's easy to see this because we're now resorting to burning food in cars. 10% ethanol is mandatory in this state. 10% won't be enough in a very short time.

We'll have to accommodate ever-shrinking supplies in some other fashion. A fashion we won't like at all. After food, I mean, what else is there to burn?
