When oil was 98.6 it wasn't so bad. Now things are seeming rather ill.

wait till we hit $106:

$98.6 - Normal body temperature

$100.4 - Sweating, feeling very uncomfortable, slightly hungry.

$102.2 - Severe sweating, flushed and very red. Fast heart rate and breathlessness. There may be exhaustion accompanying this. Children and people with epilepsy may be very likely to get convulsions at this point.

$104 - Fainting, dehydration, weakness, vomiting, headache and dizziness may occur as well as profuse sweating.

$105.8 - (Medical emergency) - Fainting, vomiting, severe headache, dizziness, confusion, hallucinations, delirium and drowsiness can occur. There may also be palpitations and breathlessness.

$107.6 - Subject may turn pale or remain flushed and red. They may become comatose, be in severe delirium, vomiting, and convulsions can occur. Blood pressure may be high or low and heart rate will be very fast.

$109.4 - Normally death, or there may be serious brain damage, continuous convulsions and shock. Cardio-respiratory collapse will occur.

$111.2 or more - Almost certainly death will occur; however, patients have been known to survive up to $115.7

PMS,

I was talking to some friends today about preparing for peak oil. They have all come aware of this in the past few months. Better late than never, as they say. I was explaining to them that the situation is now desperate and it's easy to see this because we're now resorting to burning food in cars. 10% ethanol is mandatory in this state. 10% won't be enough in a very short time.

We'll have to accommodate ever-shrinking supplies in some other fashion. A fashion we won't like at all. After food, I mean, what else is there to burn?

Love and bullets to all my fellow doomers from Japan.

You would never know oil has topped 103 dollars from this internet cafe in Tokyo. The world seems to keep on spinning here at Narita Airport. This frog thinks at the moment that the boiling pot of water feels like a hot tub.

Get out and see the world while you still can.

10-4 PM... I'll be taking the entire crew to Narita in June.

Each time I travel I treat it like it's the last time! Makes for some really nice journeys! :) The general perspective is a bit brighter this way. Hard to explain, maybe...
