People here sometimes are too quick to look at things in ideological absolutes. Even the Amish don't live like cavemen.
This is not an 'ideological absolute'. It's just the way I think. I don't want us to go back to a caveman society any more than anyone else.
All I'm saying is that there are models that allow us to have a highly civilised, high-population society without 'Industry'.
Post-oil Cuba is one. I'm sure we can create others in the future. Just trying to be positive here, y'know!
