Well, considering that the royal family owns the vast majority of Leonardo Da Vinci's works and others like Ruebens etc, what else do the rest of us poor schleps have to vie for except that crap? Sad really.
First of all, us poor schleps couldn't afford a Picasso. Second, The Queen was profoundly moved by Picasso's provocative art. I was too. It's disturbing but profound. That's the point. Thomas Edison warned us that we would need a substitute for fossil fuels a century ago. Did we listen to him? did we listen to Picasso? Edison was a rational intellect, Picasso was an intuitive artist. They were both putting up the danger sign.
