$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Plantagenet', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('purcatty', 'I') did notice that the pillar was still standing, which is interesting.
and also the floor below it that was not heated did not collapse at all when hit, because it was cold steel and did not collapse.
So even with a tank trunk it did not pancake through the levels.
It is a good point, when things collpapse, the pillars remain standing, don't they?
I knew the CT folks would seize on this.
Maybe this can be a teaching opportunity in elementary physics.
1. Calcualte the mass of the overpass. Then calculate the mass of the WTC 1 and 2.
Which is larger?
2. Determine the height of the overpass. Then determine the height of the WTC 1 and 2.
Which is larger?
3. Use the gravitational constant and your answers to 1 and 2 to calculate the potential energy present in the overpass and the WTC 1 and 2 prior to collapse.
Which is larger?
4. Use your calculations from 1,2, and 3 in a logical way in an essay either defending or rebutting the CT version of events at the WTC and the overpass.
Trick question, since too many values are unknown to provide a meaningful answer.
Convene Congress to resume investigation of 9/11-related evidence to properly determine these unknown values.
Excellent, "Plantagenet." All of us on the team appreciate the work you're doing here.
