$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('dukey', 'u') notice any health improvements from having them removed ?
i know having them removed is risky and can make you ill immediately after if not done properly
I started out with ten and had them removed over three operations in a two month span using two different dentists who specialized in following protocols to minimize exposure. I highly recommend the traditional rubber dam, it creates the best physical barrier and isolation. It feels a little awkward but nothing a little nitrous oxide won't ease.
That said, I accidentally got a couple wiffs of the mercury vapor because I was very nervous about the drilling pain I wasn't focused on my breathing, my first dentist hit my nerve so many times it was pure torture, had me clenched to the chair, hence the second dentist who had no problem successfully anesthetizing me.
Due to a mandatory confidentiality agreement with my dentist, I do not endorse or attribute any medical benefits to the amalgam removal. But I'm happy to report on the psychosomatic effects I experienced from what were purely cosmetic operations. The days immediately following each removal I felt slightly feverish but those imagined symptoms passed quickly. It's been over a month since my last removal, and I have never felt better in my entire life! The oppressive lethargy I grew up and been living with for too long is completely gone. Being healthy was so foreign to me, I never thought I could feel this good. My faith in the amalgam removal placebo must be extremely powerful.
