$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('TommyJefferson', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('thuja', 'T')his is the way conservatives like to pin anyone concerned with PO or GW- as doom-and-gloom pessimists.
That is irritating. I participate in some libertarian forums. Any time I mention Peak Oil, the faux-conservative neocons on those forums throw out the old chestnut about how all our petroleum problems would be solved if only those nasty "liberals" would let us tap ANWAR.
It's tedious. 1. Neocons aren't conservatives. 2. Neocons aren't libertarians.
Remember how during the 2005 hurricanes the "conservative" Joe Sixpacks squealed for government intervention to "do something" about high gasoline prices? Knuckleheads.
I told them this...
Exxon's yearly profits on sales: about 10.5%
Compare to:
Yahoo 36.1%
Microsoft 31.6%
Ebay 23.8%
Coca-Cola 21.1%
Harley-Davidson 16.9%
McDonald's 12.7%
I
wish these mini fascists would keep their minds on the gays getting married and getting prayer into high school football games. We'd all be better off.
That seems to put it into a perspective easier for the “patriots” to understand.
