The Side of Righteousness is always composed of mostly dark siders. If you're really serious about molesting children, which are you going to join? The Man-Boy Love Association? Or the Baptist Sunday School Board? Most people join pompous Side of Righteousness groups because they want to distract you from all the low down sleazy things they are doing.

Funny you should mention that. I hang around "environmentalist" and organic farming groups, all the while hopiing for mass die-off, etc., and you know what's even funnier? There's always a few others there wishing for the same thing!

There are probably more than a few - they're just hesitant to admit it. When privation hits, their numbers will increase.

What goes around, comes around. Nice to see though that the same scum continue to propagate the same ideas, good consistency there.

I didn't read throught he whole thread, nor do I have any intention of doing so. Its all completely predictable. Besides, Jack didn't put up any choices I would consider worthwhile or correct in his poll, its skewed. Where is the choice that the Jedi Knights will squash the Dark Side forever, eh? The Dark Lords seem to think there are no Jedi's out there, but there ARE.

No doubt, identifying Good and Evil correctly is the hardest challenge for a Jedi. Its also always possible for a Jedi to become corrupted by the Dark Side. You have to have a real solid moral center to identify Good and Evil all the time and selectively exterminate Evil. The world itself tends to blur the lines all the time, so you have to find the center outside the world. Once you do though, Evil sticks out like a sore thumb. Then you pull out your Light Saber and you carve it up like Thanksgiving Turkey. Plenty of Evil Turkey here to carve up. ;-)

Sounds intriguing. I'm mostly interested in what the women are like on each side. I tend to go for the bad girls. But I do prize honesty and loyalty and dark-side women might all be backstabbing liars.

I think I'll head toward the light. Is it the white light or the blue light... where's Raphael when you need him ?

No seriously, my only counterpoint is that the original post seems to inject too much emotionalism into one's practice of Darkness.

It is in fact, just business, nothing personal. Neither reveling, nor remorse; just DOING in the pursuit of survival and prosperity for pack and self.
