$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Chaparral', '
')I may have to have Jack and Seahorse challenge each other to a duel in "As the Zombie World Turns!" tho.... it could be fun

You'll see the two ideologies played out soon enough, I think.
There will be those who claim to be pure and good - and they will use tactics that would make Stalin turn aside in disgust. You'll have others who proclaim various philosophies that might be decried as pure evil - but their acts will end up being good.
Seahorse spoke of the Nazis, and I suppose they are the present-day icon of evil. So, what of the pilots who dropped bombs on Dresden, creating a lethal firestorm? The area bombed was the historic part of the city, not important from the perspective of war production. Were those Allied pilots evil? They killed civilians and destroyed a city. Or were they good, since they were fighting evil? Or were they not really either - just men doing what they thought was their duty?
More currently - let us suppose we have a really good lawyer. A client seeks representation in a criminal case. The client is charged with capital murder - when, in fact, they committed manslaughter. So, does the attorney get the killer released? Quietly arrange a plea bargain so the killer winds up doing some time - and the attorney gets paid anyway? But that's deceit, isn't it?
And what of the sub-prime mortgage situation? Is it cruel deceit to guide people who cannot afford to buy a house into a mortgage? Or is it good, since they have a shot at home ownership? Or is it "just business"?
What of a Marine sniper in Iraq? Is he good - fighting for freedom for the Iraqi people? Evil - killing someone he doesn't know...only following orders? Or neither - just a man trying to get back to his family in one piece?
Now, notice I offer no judgments. I'll let others do that. But if we're going to take a perfectly nice little thread and start discussing heavy-duty issues like "good" and "evil", we may find quite a nasty can of worms at the bottom.
