Of course, the War in Iraq was what really ignited the broader awareness - that and whole series of other books on the subject that came out in 2003 - 2005.
I read Hubbert's Peak when it first hit the shelves.
Exactly. Only within the group that discovered online - which is disporportionately made up of IT guys like Aaron - did LATOC play any sort of a significant role.
I'm not saying that out of false modesty, it is simply the reality of the situation. It's niche sucess has allowwed me to make a modest living from it. So I'm pretty glad about that as the alternative would be slaving away at some law firm sweatshop.
And I dont' think there is really a "movement." But that's probably another thread.
