I don't have a problem with the thread. I have never understood why most people have such an aversion to the topic of shit when they do it everyday.

It sticks all in it's own, is all. Like MP's "goo poo".
Shit doesn't stink, to me.
Except the hog farms...now that's some stinky action there.
Stop filling dumpsters, as much as you possibly can, and everything will get better.

Just think it through.
It's not hard to do.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('smallpoxgirl', 'I') just want to say that I'm really pissed that FF waited until after the wingnut of the year award nominations were over to post this, cause this is way nuttier than most of Lorenzo's swastica posts.

I've personally seen inside at least 100 colons. I have yet to see a single worm, a fungus ball or any mucus ropes. These colon cleanse products are utter garbage. If you're believing that stupid garbage, you deserve to be seperated from your money. Shoot esspresso up your butt if you really feel compelled, but for god's sake don't pay good money for this histrionics.

You Smallpoxgirl should win the Wingnut award. Here are some numbers for you. Pinworms, mostly in cooler "industrialized countries" but found also in the tropics, over one billion people infected every year. Hookworms, mostly in tropical countries where people go barefoot, one billion people a year. Roundworms, both tropical and cooler countries, 900,000,000 people a year. That's not includeing tapeworms, whipworms, and others. I guess the 100 people's colons you saw maybe didnt have any.

Smallpox,

In your expert medical opinion, and within a reasonably degree of medical certainty, does the picture of the "mucus rope" accurately depict a picture of the dead gerbal excised from Richard Gere's colon?

I've pretty much concluded at this point that the impacted crap and fungus strings don't exist. There's far more evidence against than there is for. FF could be lying I suppose but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he is a special case or that the product itself causes the condition. Worms obviously can exist in the intestinal tract, but this is pretty rare to find in the first world.

Go to a nursery or playgroup, approx. 40% of the little darlings will have worms due to doing cute little kiddie things such as eating off the floor and using their hands to wipe their asses.

Yeah, I don't buy that number unless you have something that backs it up. Then I will promptly admit I am wrong.

so by wiping your own ass with your hands, not washing, and that infects you with worms? How is that possible? Unless you are REinfecting yourself

Well for pin worms this helps the next generation. You already have them, but they lay the eggs near your anus and secrete a chemical that causes intense itching. The idea is to get you to scratch and later eat the eggs. However, if you resist, the hatchlings are capable of crawling back into your intestines from behind.

I think that mucus ropes can with reasonable medical certainty be localized to an impaction of feces in the cranium displacing the brain and causing an irresistable desire to stick Taster's Choice in your rectum and give out money reclessly to infomerical hucksters.

Ummm yeah. In Guatemala maybe.

Sorry to break this to you but..
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '
')The human pinworm Enterobius vermicularis is a ubiquitous parasite of man, it being estimated that over 200 million people are infected annually. It is more common in the temperate regions of Western Europe and North America, (it being relatively rare in the tropics) and is found particularly in children. Samples of Caucasian children in the U.S.A. and Canada have shown incidences of infection of between 30% to 80%, with similar levels in Europe.

One really cool thing to test your digestive efficiency: Eat a can of corn and count the hours till it comes out. For me the record was 16. The longest was 24. It should take 18-24 hours to poo out a meal. Depending on what you eat of course. My cholesteral is 185 and I lost 35 pounds and noticed i can see abdominal muscles. As many other posters have stated the key is fiber and the best source of that is fruits and vegetables. My poo also smells better when i dropped my carnivoric tendencies.

Simlar experience to yours, only vegan since the 90s..I
was wondering how to reply to that poster in one of the
first pages of this thread who said they
just can't hold down fruit/veggies...and they
have the runs 7 times per day or so...I'm
thinking there is damage and that one might
need to introduce fruit/veggies very slowly...
hopefully it's not diverticulosis or diverticulitis...but
eating more meat and less fruit/veggies sounds
like it would only cause more of the same, long-term,
to the already damaged guts which apprently even
today have a hard time holding down fruit/veggies
for them..that's not the natural state, but you
may need to introduce them slowly... My 2 cents..

Sounds like they have irritable bowl syndrome, which can be treated with ayurvedic herbs.

Yeah. OK. First off you are confusing incidence and prevalence. The prevalence of pinworms in elementary schools is more like 10%. In certain institutional settings (e.g. orphanages) it can be as high as 50%. Never the less, you're right. I wouldn't have guessed it was that common.

I still remember having pinworms as a small child. It is one of my earliest memories. IT WAS HORRIBLE! The itching and tickling squirming of the worms was unbearable. They are the most active at night so you can't get any sleep either. The most sanitary germophobes would not be able to resist sticking their fingers up their asses to scractch them and scratching does not relieve the itching/tickling at all. I was on the brink of insanity until my mom got me some pills that basically instantly killed them as soon as I took them. I can not imagine not having access to those pills. I would rather kill myself than have pinworms for life and I am NOT exaggerating at all. Imagine it like being stuck naked in a room full of a swarm of starving mosquitos; and the mosquitos have access to the inside of your anus as well. There is not a chance in hell you could have these worms and not know it.

My cousins were filfthy. Its likeley I caught it from them. I know for sure my brothers and I caught lice from them. Lice were torture also, but nothing compared to the pinworms.

I hope post peak their are some natural/herbal cures for worms and lice!

I don't think it's a sentence to having them for life, but it may be a good idea to stock up on pinworm medicine before the crash.
