$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '

One really cool thing to test your digestive efficiency: Eat a can of corn and count the hours till it comes out. For me the record was 16. The longest was 24. It should take 18-24 hours to poo out a meal. Depending on what you eat of course. My cholesteral is 185 and I lost 35 pounds and noticed i can see abdominal muscles. As many other posters have stated the key is fiber and the best source of that is fruits and vegetables. My poo also smells better when i dropped my carnivoric tendencies.
Simlar experience to yours, only vegan since the 90s..I
was wondering how to reply to that poster in one of the
first pages of this thread who said they
just can't hold down fruit/veggies...and they
have the runs 7 times per day or so...I'm
thinking there is damage and that one might
need to introduce fruit/veggies very slowly...
hopefully it's not diverticulosis or diverticulitis...but
eating more meat and less fruit/veggies sounds
like it would only cause more of the same, long-term,
to the already damaged guts which apprently even
today have a hard time holding down fruit/veggies
for them..that's not the natural state, but you
may need to introduce them slowly... My 2 cents..
