$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('cynicalheretic', 'I') think I know what your problem is on this. We have been told so many lies and so betrayed by our government and on so many occasions, that no matter what happens, there must be an alterior agenda or conspiracy at hand. As surprising at it may be, sometimes and egg is just an egg. Let it go, there are far more important thing to get into a twist over.

This question as been answered, let us move on to the next one.

"Move along, nothing to see here..."

Yeah, well you asked for a difficult question.

Just don't examine the faces at all carefully, don't even try to compare the jawlines as the guy in the trial always wore a beard while Saddam in power didn't, and don't even think about comparing the teeth (especially the lower front teeth). And remember Saddam in power never had doubles.

I think you lost.

Happy New Year, anyway. :)

Saddam had dentures. I did not lose, you just did not recieve the conspiracy answer that you wanted in order to justify your paranoid schizophrenic additude towards life. I am sorry I can't fake my answers to fit your needs, I really am. But move on, if you want to play another game may I suggest a nice game of chess?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('cynicalheretic', ' ') But move on,

"Move along, nothing to see here..."

This is why I say you lost. It's the typical American failure to provide even an attempt at convincing rhetoric.

What's this got to do with schizophrenia? Resorting to ad hominems is hardly convincing.

You wanted a hard question, so I thought it would be fun to try this one. The mere suggestion that it might not be the same guy (referring, indeed, to plain physical appearances) results in an outburst of ad hominems. You're scared of the mere suggestion.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('TITAN', 'W')hat will be the result of the first LHC collision in the CERN supercollider next year?

It will not be ready by next year, but in 2008 they will do an ion run that will result in the production of one strangelet that will hit a nucleus, catalyzing it to strange matter. This will liberate energy, and sends pieces (more strangelets) flying in all directions. These will merge with other nuclei and convert them, leading to a chain reaction, and the earth will be reduced to a hot cloud of strangelets.

Come on cynicalheretic you can't really believe that right?
The Mayan Calendar doesn't end until 2012, so the universe can't
possibly cease to exists until the year 2012.....

This question: What is the purpose of your thread "Ask me a question"? In essence why are you on a peak oil forum making a thread just to answer other people's questions? Was is your motive? Is it just entertainment, are you bored, are you passing the time, are you drunk, did your wife leave you? What? How? Who? When? Why?
etc...

cynicalheretic - "People are inherently stupid and do not want to think or do for themselves so they place people in charge of thier lives. Unfortunatly when you do this, you risk creating those who have to much power and no accountability."

This is simply false. You've confused the cause with the effect. The state, division of labor, hierarchy did not originate because of stupidity and lack of autonomy. Stupidity and lack of autonomy are produced by the state serve its own interests. You have to keep in mind that "human nature" has been mutilated, repressed, devolved for a very long time. For the ruling elite, it has been a hard battle all along.

Yes, the masses are brainwashed, and wish to escape into a hyper-real Disneyland (shopping, movies, video games, etc) but this wasn't always the case. This isn't "human nature." Similarly, domesticated cows weren't always helpless parasites, completely dependant on the system of their own domination in order to even survive. That was a result of a very long and deliberate process.

Pillow, I am afraid you are mistaking how you want to see people with how they really are. Since the dawn of man, the human race has always strived to be as lazy as possible. The few select supermen who wanted and could achieve power did so by giving the masses want they thought they wanted. This is how the world works and has always worked. Most people are cattle to be herded where they need to go. Over the centuries and a long time ago these people realized that they could not provide everything as people were beginning to take belief in idols and dieties and those in charge realized this and began and push state sponsored religion. This allowed the rulers to maintain control over both the physical and spirtual side of their cattle.

99 percent of all humanity is nothing more that a thoughtless, zombified, pleasure seeking waste of Oxygen.

Once you realize this and accept it, you can see humanity for what it is, and your eyes will truly open for the first time.

Who ever said there was a balance? Humanity has been evil for a long time.

Please understand... I don't think everyone is evil, just humanity as a whole. There are good people, sadly not enough to remove the stain that already exists and continues to spread.

Next time though, define evil and good... as those words can mean so many things.

TWO MORE QUESTIONS , and no more from me until NEXT YEAR
[u]

1) a)Why do so many sheeple believe blindly in 'God' ?????(definition of God: any and all so called omnipotent & omniscience spiritual/metaphysical entity/entities who(m) takes on various forms/shapes of human personification and intervenes in the daily life's of homo sapiens, and is in control and takes charge of destiny of men, etc)

b) Why are some Monkeys such as myself feel so strongly against this behavior of believing in God that other sheeple choose to do? In essence, why do I feel such a innate hatred towards an imaginary Santa Klaus that doesn't even exists? How can I hate God if I KNOW the truth that he is fake??

2) I know you said FREEDOM as your number one. But if Freedom wasn't a choice please do me a favor and pick the number 2 from the list:

(Love, Beauty, Truth, Happiness, Lust, Passion, Desire, Curiosity, Infatuation, Intrigue, Suspense, Success, Power, Imagination, OTHER (please specify).

====== >>>>>>>> ***** &&&&& ds4g634df54hgf64j5f64j

Sorry the above was to GrAb your attention so you don't miss my thread again!!!!

cynicalheretic - "the human race has always strived to be as lazy as possible."

Thousands of years ago this was true, generally speaking. I would call it "taking the path of least resistance." If we remained that way, perhaps the present situation wouldn't be so dire. Today most people have no choice but to frantically run in a hamster wheel just to get basic necessities.

cynicalheretic - "The few select supermen who wanted and could achieve power did so by giving the masses want they thought they wanted."

Freud would disagree: "civilization is something that was imposed on a resisting majority by a minority which understood how to obtain possession of the means of power and coercion."

Note the word, "resisting." Nobody wanted to do all the idiotic grunt work of plowing a field to feed these "supermen." You said yourself they were lazy. If they were lazy why would they "want" to be beasts of burden?

cynicalheretic - "Over the centuries and a long time ago these people realized that they could not provide everything as people were beginning to take belief in idols and dieties and those in charge realized this and began and push state sponsored religion."

What you have been describing is a paraphrase of what Christians call "Original Sin". Yes, let's just blame it all on "human nature." That explains everything. Looks like you're the one who has been duped by state sponsored religion too.

cynicalheretic - "Once you realize this and accept it, you can see humanity for what it is, and your eyes will truly open for the first time."

Are cows to blame for being part of a factory farm? Is it because of Evil Cow Nature, some Original Sin? It seems to me you are the one with your eyes closed.
