The current policy isn't very far from that. The problem is that illegals complicate things. And it's anything but easy to stop illegal immigration.

If this party is just communism in disguise or BAU capitalism I will never support it. Both are a big fat lie and ponzi scheme. Neither work and both create gestapos. Only fools will back either one.

The one thing that bugs me about Tancredo and company is their immigrant fixation and that by stopping and deporting them, we will solve our problems. I agree entirely with their assessment of the immigration situation, but just cracking down without addressing why they were here in the first place and what realistic options do we have to deal with it. Mass immigration does need to be stop. I'd advocate a net immigration policy where by we accept only the exact number of people from any given country so long as it equals the number of individuals returning for no net growth.

Like everything else in a powerdown plan accepting the hand you hold and moving on is important. The reality is a good number of those illegals have been here for years and aren't going anywhere. Deal with it and move on.
If these certain politicians could exchange the anti-IMMIGRANT platform with an anti-IMMIGRATION platform, they'd draw more support. Certainly mine.
But by and large the rest of the points made here are good. It may just take a third party to shake things up.

Hey its all we have. The US population will triple or possibley quadruple in 20 years. I dont give two shits about little things. Those numbers equal hell on earth. The sustainabilkity party is not communism. The illegals are being used by communist entities. I will never ever support communism. Its a POS. Only liers and fools support communists. Its all about POWER. Sustainability party is NEW PARADIGM nothing else. End of story. take your communism back. BAU capitalism and communism meet in the circle. Both are inherently Uegenically flawwed.

They'll rig an election again if they must. The dirty tricks are far from over. However, their 'opposition' really doesn't amount to much of an improvement anyway.

There's even a not insignificant chance that the run off in Tom Delay's old district will determine control of the House. Now THAT would be a riot beyond anything I've ever witnessed. And it'd be kinda fitting in a way too, since Delay used part of the safety margin of his district as the offering that made the Texas Redistricting effort successful; so the new Delay district is much less safe than it used to be. This winter is gonna be *fun*.

What's with all of this talk about the "Dems taking over" or the "GOP staying in power"? It really doesn't matter that much if the Dems get the 15 seats in the House and/or the 6 seats in the Senate to take over. It seems by most odds that they will have a net gain of seats in both, probably several in each. Even if they gain control of both, guess what? They have a very very tiny margin. Even the GOP with a much larger margin couldn't get much of their programs through.

So what good will it do to the Dems to get the majority if it's only by a seat or two? Do they really think they would have much of a push to impeach Bush? Raise taxes? Get a better energy policy? Get out of Iraq? No. All they will do is continue to limit Bush's power. I don't give a shit about this election on the matter of if the Dems take over or not. What really matters is how much less power the GOP and Bush will have and having a bit more cooperation (I'm hoping).
There's no major difference between a slight lead for the GOP and a slight lead for the Dems. All that matters is a decrease in the Bushites in Congress.

Hi Monte you are absolutely correct. This is way beyond false propaganda. FOX has crossed the limits. I guess they do not even bother being subtle any more :-)
