$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('EndDays', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Aaron', 'I')'m trying to illuminate a central component of our worldview & assumptions about our place in it.
It really matters very little which belief system you examine... at the very core of almost every ideology, there is a common idea.
And it's the message of HawkMan:
Because I can.
Without knowing it, you are almost all disciples of HawkMan.
HawkMan, Allah, Jesus, Vishnu... whatever.
Here's the other side of that.
The Bible does prophesize about a coming time where the whole world, minus the followers of Christ will worship the Beast. So your idea is not new, in fact there is a huge world movement to unite the "religions". But therein lies the problem, and God warned us about it.
Christ is not "religion", a belief system or a series of rituals, He is alive and He is our
only Saviour. Christianity is about a restored relationship with our living God, not trying to be "good" enough to get to Him, because we can't. Christ did all the work for us, we just need to repent and trust Him.
Its a love I'll never quite fully understand, but He did it anyway for people as rotten as us.
For what you're saying about those other people - there is no other way, because Christ and Christ alone paid the penalty for our sins, thus without Him, we remain dead in sin, seperated from God and will face God's Wrath on Judgment Day.
Creating an idol named HawkMan will not change that, Aaron and I say that because I care.

You got your ass kicked in the fucking book, you got your ass kicked in the fucking movie, and you're stil coming back for more.
edit to add:- I'm referring to you, EndDays. You're such a fucking arsehole it's practically unbelievable.
If anyone else does not believe in Hawkman then i have a serious problem with them.
In fact I think people who don't believe in Hawkman should be killed.
