The wife and kids died 3 months back - some horrible flu-like infection.
I haven't seen the neighbours since then either.
To be honest there is so much shooting in the area area day & night I'm not keen on leaving this cellar.
At least I have plenty of fresh water ... although I'll have to start using the canned corned beef tonight.
Not keen on beef, but I'll survive I suppose.
I'll use up the dented cans first, and keep the OK cans for later.
I haven't seen the neighbours since then either.

The TV said that Global Warming won't start for decades ... nevertheless it's yet another very hot, dry day.
My vegetable patch has died despite my best efforts.
Just as well I'm a bit overweight - a diet will do me good ... although I'll need to find some more water from somewhere quite soon.
I'm fairly sure it will all be OK ... no way can we have a real drought here in foggy, wet England!
It'll rain soon I'm sure.

wow... Living on an asteroid must be fun. Do you have Disneyland up there?
It’s great fun living here, but no Disneyland as there’s no commercialism up here (the A.I. overseer gives us everything we want). We do have plenty of zero-g games and sports though, and then there is jacking our minds into the computer which entertains us for days on end. The only thing that sucks about living here is waiting an hour for Earth-based web pages to load.
Well I’m off to surf Jupiter’s atmosphere. Cya!
