What will your last post be?

At some point in the near future we will hit peak-post. Posts on this board will no longer be posted at the same rate, and eventually there will be one final post. And although it is probably completly irrelevant in the grand scheme of things I'm wondering what you think your final post will be on this board, and what the ultimate final post will be.

Optimism or pessimism?

Into the wilderness, as the last infrastructure fails causing communication (either me as end-user, or PO board ISP) to break.

Roger, you would be just the one to perform it, as the great Peak Oil forum sails past the event horizon into fossil-fuel-free oblivion.

Regards,

L.

Oilymon, the last post will not be recognizable as a last post, until seen in retrospect; rather like Peak Oil, doncha think?

My last post? Probably something to the effect that I'm going to take a vacation. I'll lie about where I'm going. After all, the more different stories are out there, the better. 8)

The ultimate last post? Probably Aaron shutting the site down.

Hummm, it would also be interesting to know when will we hit peak-posting rate. :)

I suggest the creation of a forum to discuss the causes and consequences of peak-posting. :P

Well, Heck! What were we all so worried about? Everything is fine now...
Yeah, it sure was hell watching 5 billion people die...
And cleaning up the mess...
But us few who are left are all pretty much used living in a sustainable fashion now.
How surprising that it's NOTHING like what anyone thought it would be...

In accordance with the NATO patriot act to secure and spread freedom and democracy in Asia, the middle east and South America and to strengthen the security and civil rights in our glorious country

the boss of Mr. Anthrobus kindly wants to inform this forum that he won't be available for further postings ...

... our lawyer will contact you for compensation of the work time of the employee spent on displaying his defaetistic, unpatriotic attitude ...

... we can give you no detail to which of the war fronts his punishment battalion was detatched ...

... the brain surgery was limited to the least neccessary extent to remove any traces of compassion and remorse as is required for the ISO 90015 type of warrior ...

... his wife stated that she was sad she had only one husband to sacrifice ...

... the rumors of troops retreating, shortages and mass desertions are untrue and the purporters will be punished ...

... even if our great and inspired leader appears only to be a banana-touting, chest-beating ape, his reputation of the gratest leader of all time is widely recognized and undisputed.

... May the millions storm victorious in the direction where he points his half bitten banana ...

thank you

Don't know, but it would be nice if it could be something like: "Sorry guys, I'm not posting here any more because I married <rich and famous guy's name here>, I'll be fine post PO and I don't want this wonderful site bogged down with posts by fans of my husband."
