No this isn't a review. I haven't finished reading it yet (I started with Vol 2 as I already know "civilization" sucks). Volume 2 advocates the deliberate destruction of "civilization"; this probably violates the site CoC.

Anyone else out there reading this book? Let's talk. Knowing what we know, do we now have an OBLIGATION to stop the holocaust of our current "civilization" by ANY MEANS NECESSARY? Including murderous, violent acts. Reading this book may make you change the way you're dealing with the current insane state of humanity.

By what means did "we" stop the Nazi holocaust?

WWII is irrelevant here. This is like the old Russian Nihilist movement of the 19th century. Civilization is Evil and must be destroyed. Why don't you just grow your gardens and let things take their course. If you actually followed this authors advice you'd just lose everything you have worked for over the past 30 years. An eco-martyr is what you want to be? We've got enough crazy martyrs in the world already.
Also, something tells me the Jensen isn't making any bombs or else he wouldn't be so open about these kinds of ideas. So that makes him an instigator for other people to commit violence to "save the planet".

I think I'm in a lose-lose situation. If I just sit back "civilization" may destroy itself and if I'm lucky not me. It's also quite likely, that if I do "nothing" (i.e. acts of violent resistence) I will still lose everything I've worked for.

Is there ANY way out, at this point?
