We are all petty little tyrants in our behaviour to ourselves and others, you cannot be different.
Only once I met someone without fear, our first enemy I think, very big in my teens up to late 20's.
Though he had no control over his self pity which is self importance SI and that displayed in him a suicidal tendency, tried to hang himself, the idiot.
Laughing at yourself lessens your SI
Found out that my feelings of compassion were based on petty little self pity, wanted to help the poor in Africa.........
Turned out I did go Africa, married an Arab princess, turned Muslim for the government and her family, fought mighty battles and on my way west to do some more.
The great thing about dethroning your personality, SI, is that it really takes a lot of your energy to keep it up. It controls your feelings and behaviour by talking to you, a never-ending internal dialogue.
One can learn to stop it and let your true nature emerge. Amen.
I have not succeeded yet, still egomaniac me. Though less then before.
THe trick here alive is to learn to save energy and store personal power. Then prepare yourself to upcoming personal events, very handy to be aware of culture dying this or next decade.
Well, we'll see.
