The responses to this person's topic were 'interesting'. Here is how it started.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'M')y numbers may be off, but follow me on this....
If there are 40 cars per race and the race is 500 miles...that's 20000miles, right?
If those cars get about 6 MPG, that's about 3333.3 gallons of gas per race!
This doesn't include tome trials, practice laps, driver training, idling time and whatever a NASCAR car does.
NASCAR, hot rods, mini-trucks, stock car, Formula 1, there are a lot of races out there. Aren't we having a oil supply issue right now?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'y')our forgeting that we plenty of oil , just our president doesn't have an abundance of brains
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'O')h go pound granola you fruit cake! Unless you drive an electric car or ride a horse piss off! The teams pay for that fuel (which costs about $4.00 a gallon because is special high octane fuel) and folks come to watch, people make money, its capatialism at its best. What's next, driving to a baseball game is un-Amercian? If you don't like it go to Canada and watch curling!
