When those misguided people call in with their magic elixers, be sure to put 'em in their place, Matt.

Those people are dangerous ...

Damn it, I work on Sundays, and they do not let us use headphones. Apparently they want us to be subject to the deluge of corporate drivel that WMTVN is. Also, you can only listen on line if you are a stream link member. Can anyone record this show, and put it on the internet. The only way I would be able to listen to it is if it is during the first hour. I would be able to hear the repeat of the show at 0200-0300, but not when it is live.

That 'Day After Tomorrow' came out on DVD here the other day, so I had a look ( or a peek even... ) - it said it was based on a book by Art Bell and Whitley Streiber ;

does anyone else worry like me, about people that know beyond doubt that consciousness=reality, putting their minds to global environmental disasters?

I'm still thinking about if icecaps melting could in fact cause a sudden ice age.....I got stuck at 'fresh water at the poles anyway, where does it come from then if the sea is salty?' and also 'so does the last ice age of about 12,000 years ago mean that the dinosaurs ( or mammoths ) were fossil fuel burners?! how come there was an ice age then, but if there's one now it's because of fuel burning CO2 and related emissions?'

I don't think we will be the death of the planet, just an annoying infection that it might have to clear if we don't become like 'friendly bacteria' - one thing I do remember about Strieber's writings is a pre-9-11 book* that warned about a plot to cause a nation-wide terrorist attack, so as to de-stablise or overthrow entirely the government of the USA, it detailed how if the government was wiped out there were laws that would allow Federal States to take over individual running of their juristictions - sometimes I think about how if those other planes had all crashed that day on their potential targets, 'specially 93, and - that quake that hit the West coast a day or so earlier had been a big one (as some predicted it would be) it would have been meltdown in the USA, like the end of the Illuminatus! novel.

* it was probably The Secret School, I say probably because if you flick or read thru the whole text and it isn't in there, don't blame me! it's in one of his books

The problem is, of course, that not only is economics bankrupt, but it has always been nothing more than politics in disguise... economics is a form of brain damage.

I didn't hear it, but I'm guessing the content is similar to his appearances on Financial Sense with Jim Puplava and Feet to the Fire (which are available online, use Google).

Just completed hour #2 with Matt Savinar.

Good job Matt!

I heard some survivalist talk coming from Matt. :) I agree %100 percent with the magnitude picture he painted...collapse! Matt said he wanted to be in an Eco-Village within 6-9 months!

Did anyone (who actually heard the broadcast) think Matt was going overboard? I can't find anything wrong with what he said. Spot on Matt!

Disclaimer: I did miss a few minutes because I had to respond to an armed robbery. :x

Dang robbers. Jail's too good for em.

I've been listening too, and right now there's this Rory fellow who's talking about flying saucer he saw, and based on his careful observations and cryptic exchanges with DARPA and Fermilab, he's deduced the saucers were powered by antimatter. (Maybe he saw 1 MeV gamma rays coming out the exhaust pipe?)

Now, anti-matter is, like hydrogen, an energy carrier - a far more potent one, but the principle is the same. Anti-matter is made in particle accelerators, one little positron or anti-proton at a time, separated by magnetic field and contained by another magnetic field, hopefully. It takes more energy to make anti-matter than you can recover by using it in reaction with matter to produce energy.

Every physics ignoramous is coming out of the woodwork with all these supposedly "brilliant" ideas that all the physicists have overlooked, and their motive, I think, is simply to have their 15 minutes of fame and impress their friends by being "on the radio."

Yeah, Art Bell has some whacko callers!

I wonder what the EROI on creating anti-matter is? Negative 50:1? Those super colliders aren't cheap to build or operate!

Jenab, what did you think of Matt's scenario(s)?
