$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Starvid', '
')No clip was more than 5 seconds long. It was just lots of pretty pictures of big trucks, dancing girls, driving cars, interview of some stupid ass chinese couple and commercial breaks all the fucking time.
It sucked total ass.
Is all American television this low quality?
I just saw the show on TV last night. I liked it for what it was. Of course the show had to have a few corcnucopian arguments (100 billion barrels yet to be discovered in US, Brazil's self-sufficiency with ethanol) but I think in fairness MSM news has to try to be objective. If I made a peak oil doc. I would have Jerome Corsi on (even though I can't stand him) to play the Devil's Advocate.
The Chinese couple in the show symbolized China's attempt at creating a large middle class population. Take that couple and multiply that by 70 million in the next few years. Now think of the impact towards world energy markets this will cause.
I liked it for what it was. It wasn't perfect, but it's a lot better than what is shown on usual American news.
If you didn't like it, does Europe produce any peak oil documentaries for their mainstream news?
