$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'A')re you crazy? Cars are cool. Go wherever you want, whenever you want, and if you're sly, as fast as you want.
Who would be so crazy as to say people shouldn't like that?
Because there is also a substantial portion of people that would rather never have to own a car to get around, and that would leave them free money their own hobbies and pursuits. Perhaps one person might opt for an expensive sports car that they might only take out once a month, instead of having to plunk money down on some high maintenance Suburban Utility Vehicle just to appease their fat, hen-pecking, conformist wives.
Make the car an option, as opposed to a necessity, and a lot of consumption will be cut, and those that do decide to have cars for recreation(not needing something overly practical) will more often have the spare money to have the cars they dream of.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'P')etroleum is like cocaine. You don't frugally stretch it out to last all month till your next paycheck. You don't share it with all your friends. You don't save it for the future.
What says you need petroleum to fuel a car? Or to fuel a fast car that does the 1/4 mile in 10 seconds and tops 200 mph, for that matter?
