$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Princess', 'I') don't know if I'll live to 80 or 100, but I know I won't go out with a wimper. I intend to go out fighting, kicking and screaming all the way.
Right on, Princess... Outwit, Outplay & Outlast.
I may be voted off the island at some point, but until that time I'm going to give it the best I've got.
Someone said it's "hard" to prepare. huh. Hard is not:
- buying sturdy clothes that last, instead of a new flashy, fashionable outfit per week, and using the saved money to put into preps
- reading a book on gardening, first-aid, or self-defense instead of 10 hours worth of television a week
- buying dried beans, rice, wheat & canned goods instead of going out to restaurants 4-5 times a week (oh, and learning how to cook them)
- buying a basic gun set (1 rifle, 1 shotgun, 1 handgun) and learning how to shoot proficiently & hunt, instead of that 2 week vacation to the coast.
That's not hard, that's just a matter of will, choice.
What's hard? Trying to find something to wear, eat & defend yourself with after superinflation hits, all the employers lay-off everybody, and a massive economic depression occurs. Staying safe and healthy when the riots/pandemic break out.
Those are
hard.
