Most commonly one sees roadkill along the street as a result of "someone elses deed", yet it is nothing but a random process to who nobody wants to be accountable for.

I drove out of Los Angeles a couple days ago and while on the "road stream" of the freeway system I nearly hit a dove that stranded on the busy 101 struggling with perception, cars were driving on high speed (no traffic jam at that particular moment), wheels left, wheels right, cars above, the dove was obviously confused, probaly hit in the first place unable to fly at that moment, her wings hit right and left on the gound, all unreal, I myself just steered around the bird and felt really bad about her destiny..

Albente I don't want to turn this into a conversation to take up the boards time, but why would I want to put that picture over the walls in my house, I would look like a catholic nut (religious painting I presume), or is it for the reason to watch out for pigeon droppings as the bird looks likes it's comming to drop one on the girl.

Here, it is against the law to run over an animal and then pick it up for dinner, however if you see another motorist kill an animal, you can stop and pick it up for dinner

I mostly walk, sometimes I ride my bike. besides that is not the point, it is the lack of compassion that goes along with it that bothers me. I am not high and mighty and I know I have killed my share of things, but I try not to do it thoughtlessly and without compassion

Yes Dukat, religious symbolism is clearly involved in the picture and the same is true for Jagermeister. The dove in my text was just a symbol for systems other than our egosystem, as Pierre Chomat calls it in his book "Oil Addiction". I highly recommend this book, eventhough he is clearly aware of PeakOil he does not even talk about it (at least not during the first two thirds which I have read so far). It is simply advanced stuff just like the beginning of this thread.

Do you honestly believe I need to start another thread discussing PeakOil? The whole board is plastered. The walls around you symbolize your mental walls as well. There is a lot of harsh interaction on this forum I've noticed. I suggest that you drink some Jagermeister, Dukat simply to chill out.

I am the least religious person here, yet religious sybols can be fascinating. And no, I am not trying to get into a religious discussion here.
