No, but there are some ideas on how to protect your wealth from the effects of peak oil, or at least offset some losses.

1. Invest in oil. Might be a little late in the game at this point. I specifically like Guinness Atkinson energy fund (GAGEX) and do NOT like any of the western oil majors since their production seems to be declining and they can't find any new oil. Also looking for a small company with an innovative way to exploit shale oil, or a small company with the potential to find oil like Eden Energy, though the risk is higher with them.
2. Get out of debt in case you lose your job. Bankruptcy will be even tougher after Oct. 17 in the US (new law into effect). At least get rid of credit card debt. If you think your job will be secure and are expecting inflation, then do something else with your money now and let inflation take care of the car loans/home loans, etc.
3. Buy some gold as an inflation hedge. See 1979-1980.
4. Buy a farm. Long-range food distribution is dependent on cheap gas. Localized food production may become important again. At least you can keep from starving if it comes to that. Plus, there are the stories of "Persian Rugs in Pig-Styes" in Germany after WW1. When things get real bad, only the essentials continue to have value, and people will trade worthless cash, gold, antiques, etc. for them. I should add that property values are really high right now and it might not be the best time to buy.
5. Develop an alternative to oil and market it to the masses. Just kidding.

Reverse the logic of Wal-Mart. Instead of ssngular megastores that require driving in metropolitan areas start with rail access, look to general purpose stores for gardening, hardware and dry goods. "No refridgeration, A/C or heavy power use, no large scale just in time delivery systems, no buying volume."
A chain of this type that prioritizes a fuel efficient delivery and provides a catalyst for other small scale exchanges will be useful when folks can't travel 50 or more miles for their stuff. Limit the items like ALDI for efficiency and you've got a pretty solid opportunity.

I already see several good ideas listed...
But I think the easiest choice is to buy some CL futures contracts for Dec 2011.
(Leaving enough cash to protect the open positions in case of a short term price decline, this should also be one of the safest choices to cash in from PO...)

What is intailled in the new laws coming in on the 17th? I'm very interested in this. I am happy that the USA is going to make indebted people accountable for their debts because it angers me to see people who are living it up on debt and then getting away with it by declearing bankrupt. It will be highly humerous for me to see indebted servitude in the USA, people will then spend more thought on making sure their investments are viable and curb greed. What are the details of the new laws?
