$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Newfie', 'W')hat is “old” anyway? I recently read an article that said your mental attitude can physically improve your health, if you think young you stay younger. So I’m upping my game, I’ve always look at myself as a 16 yo, now I’m moving it to 12.
Well, I try to be realistic instead of delusional. I play some younger peoples' games and interact with a fair amount of young people due to those games. I don't give up and say "woe is me" because college was 4 decades ago. But, OTOH, these days I don't try to bench press over twice my weight and risk serious injury, the body being less able to deal with physical intensity like that than it was when I was a lot younger.
To me it's about balance, and remembering there's no reason one can't have lots of fun and enjoy life, even if one's body insists on doing that at a more subdued pace.
Given the track record of the perma-doomer blogs, I wouldn't bet a fast crash doomer's money on their predictions.
