Hilarious and really hits the spot on what is so annoying about the "aggressive" vegan types, IMO.
This reminds me of the sign I loved so much that showed up in a liquor store window when the law banning smoking in restaurants and bars showed up in my city year's back:
"Smokers welcome. Nonsmokers welcome. Fascists not welcome."
(And I know, meat eating isn't banned (yet) -- BUT many aggressive vegans would love to have it banned if they could get away with it.)
(As a nonsmoker, it seemed to me that having a rule where a sign needs to be clearly posted on whether each restaurant is smoking or nonsmoking would do the trick. (Oh, and then SERIOUS escalating fines for allowing smoking in the posted non-smoking restaurants). That way most bars could be smoking, and chains could have both smoking and nonsmoking stores -- and smokers and nonsmokers (but not anti-smoking fascists) would have a solution they could live with. Clearly being reasonable and seeking compromise makes me unqualified for politics).
But no, since the majority of people are nonsmokers, they banned it in all bars and restaurants since only their own opinion mattered to them. And typical of results from politicians, the fines are so small (and they don't escalate) that many bars just ignore the law and pay the fine as a cost of doing business. So the law ends up just being a shakedown (and boo-hoo for the fascists).
Given the track record of the perma-doomer blogs, I wouldn't bet a fast crash doomer's money on their predictions.
