Hard to tell what's going to happen in hollowed out America. We have a lot of people around here without jobs already, so I think that those niches are taken. We are going to have to figure out some way of keeping them busy, and agriculture is a good way to do it, if they'll work. I said that we are going to need a lot more farmers to people at church and they told me not to be so negative. They really didn't have a clue.

There really is no way out of a collapse except for the do it yourself mentality. If you can manage to keep yourself and your family fed, be in a reasonably dry and warm place, then you will be doing well. Safety might be a problem, but it's a problem now in some places. Staying out of big cities when it starts to go pear shaped might be a good idea. Neither is it any good to move too far out into the boonies. In my humble opinion...
