Hi Ayoob
Yes they do apply and i do apply them

1. I use pressure cooker/canner for almost everything. It is my experience that with some careful timing the food gets just perfect. And I save approx. 60% of the energy. I have for both electricity and natural gas.
2. I always time-shift my purchases. And I am getting better at buying large amounts, but for some reason it takes some courage to run amok when the offer is there

.
About 70% of the building materials for my house was bought on discount moments. All of the more expensive foods - like meat - is bought when there is a special offer. My house itself was on "offer". I waited about 1½ year after the subprime crisis and then i found a place that had been taken over by the government - which they just needed to get rid off. So i got it at the price of the land underneath. - Not that it was much more worth. But here in Denmark it is not easy to find a house that is neighbourgh to forest and beach without paying a million for it. I got it at about 20% of the "normal" price.
3. I remember

But thanks for the ideas.
