Personality Disorder Test, Are We Crazy?

[Disclaimer, this test is not designed as a diagnostic tool. Meaning, if the test says you're crazy, it doesn't necessarily mean you are.]

I took this test and got the following results:
Disorder Rating
Paranoid: Very High
Schizoid: Very High
Schizotypal: Moderate
Antisocial: High
Borderline: Low
Histrionic: Moderate
Narcissistic: Very High
Avoidant: Moderate
Dependent: Low
Obsessive-Compulsive: Moderate

I gave the test to two of my friends and neither scored "very high" in anything. One got a high in OCD, the other didn't even score high in anything.

I suggest that everyone take the test honestly and post the results. I think the PO crowd is highly paranoid and if enough people take the test, I can confirm my hypothesis.

PS. I'm kinda crazy and I know it. Don't use me as an example of a normal result. :roll:

Well, I guess I'm a little off my rocker based on that test. Although I honestly don't feel the results are accurate!

I agree and I told them so. I'm under the impression that they are afraid of taking the test honestly. They think answering honestly (and scoring high in a few categories) would make me think that they were crazy, and thus I wouldn't talk to them. That in and of itself is a disorder. I'm not sure which one, but I'm sure we would find out if they took the test...did that little paragraph make sense?!?

I notice several otherwise balanced people here score high on
avoidant - I don't know if that correlates with peak oil belief -
(definition is prone to fantasising, socially inadequate) or just to
being web geeks who need to get out more and spend less time

I scored low in everything except for:
Histrionic: Moderate
Narcissistic: High

I think I was having an arrogant moment while answering the questions. :razz:

Tyler, it hardly surprises me that you scored very high on paranoid. I think all the posters here know you're paranoid. It's just been officially and clinically confirmed.

I find it more interesting that a lot of peakoilers are showing as not paranoid at all, which sort of proves that peak oil isn't just a paranoid conspiracy theory.

IMO our results would be very different if we were to subtract PO awareness :)

This is idiotic folks.
Modern day anything is effected by modern day "standards" and controls and since we ARE living in LALA land modern day analysis of human behavior is anything but "normal".

I am not a big fan of the word "normal" yet that and the word "acceptable" are the standards being used here to determine what is a"right" and what is a "wrong" type of behavior.

There is only so much you can learn by studying monkeys in cages.

Give me the name of the genius(s) who devised this test and I will add it to my THUNDERDOME list 8)
