Avatars - sod peak oil......

Unread postby KevO » Mon 06 Jun 2005, 12:38:38

Well done pfish for your Eric Avatar.
I not only have Aaron in my dreams but his Avatar has been a desktop of mine for a while.
I like the ones that have life..like mine.
I've had complaints from other users that mine puts them off what they're reading.
I found that so funny, I decided to write more
:)

C'mon peak oilers don't be boring, get a decent avatar.
What are you saving yoursleves for?

Personally I find your avatar boring plain and childish
jumps around all over the place and has nothing to say

On the other hand mine surfing the wave is a lot more peak oilish 8)

..and yeah dreaming of Aaron ....and they call me weird ..... No offence Aaron :P

His avatar moves?

I never even noticed!

I have Firefox set to play animations once, then stop. I guess I wasn't looking while it was moving.

Firefox is great for dealing with obnoxious avatars. Get the Anidisable plugin, and you can watch bouncing avatars, if that's what you want, see them move once, or freeze them altogether. You can also completely block any image you don't care to see. (I did that with that gross oral health pic someone posted in another thread.)

At the reduced resolution, the left half kinda looks like a shark coming to get him.

The problem is, of course, that not only is economics bankrupt, but it has always been nothing more than politics in disguise... economics is a form of brain damage.

Since I am a "Doomer", my avatar seems appropriate.

I just uploaded my avatar I hope you like it, it's Emmy Rossum aka 'Christine' from the Phantom of the Opera letting her dress straps fall off her shoulders when she is prancing about for the Phantom.

How I love to sing along with the Phantom of the Opera. Hint: If you put subtitles on amd shove a mic in the tv it's just like Karaoke. :P

Can anyone here recognoze the mythical planet which I chose for my avatar? HINT it is called the Easter Egg Planet by many.

Stupid_monkeys' Avatar

Unread postby I_Like_Plants » Wed 22 Jun 2005, 04:38:03

I keep puzzling over that avatar, ok the girl with the tennis bag or whatever in the foreground is looking the wrong way, not aware of her surroundings, but what's the deal with the guy/gal sprinting? Why are they running into her? Is their concentration so narrowed down on their sprint that they didn't see the other person? They fall down too.....
