Shorty was/is an ancient troll that kept resurrecting himself under new aliases. If you're new and write kinda like him with similar positions, people will suspect that you're Shorty now.

I never did understand why having him around as Shorty was objectionable; but the mods here do such a decent job at keeping this place running, I'm inclined to trust their judgement in the matter.
Yes we are, as we are,
And so shall we remain,
Until the end.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', 'Y')ou don't need an explanation. You're the Jedi Priest.

That comment I understand. Never thought of myself as a Priest, don't like that angle on the username much, but I suppose it is too late to do anything about it now.

I see. Was he a good old Midwestern boy as well? You would think a glance at a geolocator on the IP number would be enough to know right quick who someone was, different usernames or not.

[quoteBicycles in a post apocalyptic world are highly impractical for any distances. They require flat, smooth and well maintained surfaces on which to operate efficiently. Expect high maintenance in trying to cut paths through ruff terrain][/quote]

Really ? Some one should have told the Chinese.

Macadam was developed for horses and carts, not bicycles.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'P')retorian, if you think poor people don't own cars, you've never been to Arkansas. Go get the facts for yourself and see if what I say is true - the poor drive cars.

They didn't in the past and they probably won't in the future.
Even if electric cars were viable, they would still be more to run than current ice cars. The days of 10 cent a gallon petrol and land yachts with boot lids you could land an aircraft on won't ever come back.
