$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('SeaGypsy', '[')b]This is the greatest argument for some kind of Supreme Creator. For at least 40 years scientists have attempted to construct life.
You're saying there's a Creator.. how would you respond to Aristotle? If there is a "prime mover" then who or what set this Creator in motion? Who created the creator? Then who created the creator who created the creator.. and on into infinity.
There's no evidence in the natural world of any deities spontaneously creating life. There's no evidence of what the physical mechanism would be to do such a thing. Magic is cool, but it doesn't exist there's just no evidence for it.
You say scientists haven't been able to create life, but likewise there's no evidence that gods can either. Or any evidence of gods for that matter.
These are all such hard concepts to wrap one's head around. For all we know there are multiple universes. But how did matter originate to begin with.. the human brain wants to find a beginning and end, but as Aristotle proved with logic, infinity is the only possible answer.
(P.S. also you're expecting 20th / early 21st century scientists to have a accomplished in a lab what took nature billions of years. Give humanity a billion years and see what they come up with..)
