$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('rostov', 'I') can't seem to find the end-date for the voting..... Would it be ethical to get a non-PO forum (I'm running it) of a few hundred members to help me vote it up?
On another question : I still am struggling with why publicizing PO is a good thing. If widespread publicity unto understanding is able to steer a global stabilization to our population and resource growth (e.g. drop or make it 0 growth) for a slow die-off, I can understand. However, if such a publicity has little effect to stave a hard crash, what's the use?
Thanks for any answers.
On the first question, if they know what they are voting on, and have the permission
not to vote, or vote for something different, then I think it would be completely
ethical to persuade them to vote. If you have the power to coerce them then that
would be unethical, of course.
On the second question, I would rather not have the blindfold when facing a firing squad.
Also, if some incredibly inventive mind can really see a way out of the problem, but
he or she is not aware of the problem, they may not have the time (may not anyway) to disiminate their plan.
